Meet Pudge.

Pudge likes to go to school, loves playing video games and running with his friends. Sometimes he just needs a little peace and quiet. There are some days when Pudge feels so stressed that he can't sit still even for a minute. He even has trouble falling asleep at night. What is a dragon to do?

                      Meditate!

This textbook is a guide for parents, grandparents, teachers, and older children to help teach younger children (and themselves) an easy way to meditate. In this book, you will find several illustrated easy-to-follow breathing and meditation exercises for the whole family to learn. As a bonus in the back of the book, there are four energy exercises to help kids (and adults) be more focused and balanced, in body, mind and spirit.

Learning to meditate is a great gift to give our children and the future of the world. The Dalai Lama has said that if every eight-year-old child learned to meditate, world violence would be eliminated in one generation. Learning a more peaceful and loving way to deal with life is a wonderful gift and life lesson for everyone.

Studies show that mindful and centered children (and adults) are

  • less anxious and stressed,

  • more centered and focused,

  • have better concentration in school

  • have higher self-esteem and self-love

  • and will sleep better at night

Pudge Love

“ I introduced Pudge to my grandsons( 5 and 7) last weekend when they spent the night.  They learning the first 3 breathing techniques and the WC posture.  They call the belly breathing the "trampoline" breath and I got them to each pick out one of their mommy's stuffies to take home to be their buddy....so cute. They are very active boys...swimming, gymnastics, skiing, soccer, etc.  and pretty much inseparable because they are so close in age (19 mos).  Nice for them to learn how to find a quiet space in such a busy home life.”
